'Prepare the Way' by Bette Dickinson is painted with liquid acrylic and oil on clayboard. This painting is a depiction of Zechariah and Elizabeth holding John the Baptist. Zechariah proclaims John’s destiny in Luke 1:76-77 (NIV) as “a prophet of the Most High for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins…”
This painting will be published in Bette Dickinson’s upcoming book called, Making Room in Advent: 25 Devotions for a Season of Wonder with InterVarsity Press (Fall 2022). This is a trifecta!! 3 days in a row of daily prayer, scripture and connection.
You better watch out—this could become a habit! ;-)

YouVersion reading plan (with friends) here (you should be on day 2 of the first week… but hey, maybe you started it late… that’s ok… just try to do it together with some friends).
Pray for your hub (what we call a small group, 2-6 people) OR pray for a hub to join you. :-)
